Tournament information

Dates

The 2024 Tournament will be held on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th April.

On-line entry will open at 08:00am on Wedneday 3rd January 2024 and close at Noon on 13th March 2024.

Tee Times

These will be emailed to all accepted competitors following the draw and also posted on the Copt Heath Golf Club website. In the event of any competitor having to withdraw they should notify the Competition Secretary of Copt Heath Golf Club immediately by telephone (01564 731620) and confirm by email. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to fix and/or alter starting times.

Practice and registration

A courtesy practice round, for competitors only, will be allowed, when players will be required to register in the Competition Office, before playing. Any competitor unable to register should inform the Club Secretary. Competitors are required to pre-book a starting time with the Professional (01564 731623).

Equipment

Competitors are strongly recommended to verify that their clubs and golf balls are conforming by referring to the R&A website. The following Local Rules are in effect - Model Local Rules G-1, G-2 and G-3 in the 2023 Official Guide to the Rules of Golf pg 495 and 496.

Caddies

Rule 10-3a is modified in this way: A player may use a caddie, who must be under the age of 18 at 00:00 hours on 1st January of the year in which the Competition is being played.

Dress

Smart casual dress may be worn throughout the Clubhouse at all times. Jeans and tracksuits are not suitable wear on the Course or in the Clubhouse.

Meals

Meals and snacks will be available at standard Club prices.
