The course now starts to show some of its variety. It is this variety that sets CH apart from other courses and provides both a test for strong players and pure fun for the less able player.
This is the tightest hole to date but there is room for the driver albeit a landing zone has to be found between bunkers on the right and trees and bushes on the left. If the driver is taken then there is a significant benefit to the player by having a lofted club to the trickiest green to date.
This green can house pins in very difficult and hard to access positions, particularly for longer shots emanating from a more conservative tee shot. Classic risk and reward.
