Seniors Match Result Update

The Seniors Team have made an excellent start to the season.

To date they have played 5 matches. After drawing at home to Shirley and losing at Edgbaston, they are now on a roll, with victories against Moseley and more recently away at Coventry and at home to Stratford on Avon - real feathers in the caps, especially considering that Stratford had 4 single handicap players in their team!

Stars of the show against Stratford on Avon were Stuart Durk and Norman Vernon who won 6&5, and at Coventry Dave Allen and John Allen (not related) who romped home 7&6.

The 5 matches have involved 31 players. More of you would be welcome!

The Seniors play 16 different Clubs each year either home or away on a bi-annual rota, providing a great a opportunity to play at a number of local Clubs. If you are over 55 and not already involved, sign up to the Seniors squad on-line or contact Steve Fowles or Colin Winstone and you will be able to register your interest for specific fixtures.
