The Seniors Charity day raised over £300 and proved to be a very entertaining competition. Bob Taylor had his first Hole in One on the 13th, the Pin at 167 yards and tucked away to the top right, the most difficult of positions, well done Bob.
The team competition which included the very creative “Performance Enhancing Advantages” was won by Colin Winstone, Paul Musgrave and Kevin Byrom with 107 points, second was Greg Hammond, Barry Oxley and Rob Hunt with 101, closely beating Rob Russell, David Sturdee and Tony Moir with 100 points.
Longest Drive went to Greg Russell and Nearest the Pin in Two was won by Tony Moir who holed his second shot on the 18th.
The putting competition was won by Martin Batchelor taking only 13 shots to get round the 9 hole course, closely followed by Frank Miller taking 14 shots.
